Be sure to check out country music's legendary supergroup the Highwaymen, featuring Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. This TV Special includes archival performance and interview footage shot in 1994 for an unproduced documentary. Contemporary interviews include Nelson, Kristofferson, Don Was, Chips Moman, Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings.

Also a reminder that the new expanded The Road Goes on Forever album is now available, but beginning later this month a limited edition package will include the cd along with a DVD which shows behind the scenes footage of Waylon, Wille, Johnny, and Kris making the album ten years ago. In other news Jessi Colter (Waylon's widow) will be out with a new album, Back from the Ashes, on January 31, 2006. It is produced by Don Was, who also produced the final Highwaymen album. Shooter Jennings (Waylon's son) is also confirmed that he is wrapping up production on his second album while recovering from a broken rib. The rib was injured during a concert when Shooter expanded his lungs too much when belting out a big note.

Kris Kristofferson will reportedly have his autobiography ready for book stores on November 1st of this year.

Wanted: The Outlaws, a CMT documentary on the historic country music album which was the first to sell a million copies, will air on November 5th. Check listings or www.cmt.com for scheduled airings.

As almost everyone knows by now, Walk the Line: The Johnny Cash Story, will begin showing in theaters on November 18th. Shooter Jennings has a brief appearance in the film protraying his father.
